Victorian gem built in 1864 as an elegant summer retreat, in
two acres of landscaped gardens, and just a 5 minute walk into
the town. It has been gracefully enhanced over the last 20 years to provide a selection
of comfortable, affordable luxury bedrooms, all with private
bathrooms, air conditioning, many with private decks or porches
overlooking the garden. Some have canopy queen or king sized beds, TVs and fireplaces. The suites are in a separate building across the lawn and have a sitting room
with kitchenette, en suite bedroom with either a double whirlpool
bath or shower and a queen canopy bed, private deck with garden
views. A full country breakfast is served in the dining room but you can choose the
porch or the garden terrace. Wine and cheese are available in the library between 5 and 7. Children over 12. |
