amazing, welcoming family B & B is 45 miles west of Albany, set in the hills with a ninety-mile view overlooking
the Mohawk Valley to the Adirondacks and Green Mountains of
Vermont. There are many interests in the area, from a diamond mine and an Iroquois Indian
Museum to performing arts and the home of baseball at Cooperstown. This is an 80 acre llama farm and offers hiking, an outdoor swimming pool, a
restored indoor bowling alley and access to fishing and boating
nearby. The two houses here provide a unique window into the opulence of a late Victorian
spa town. The Main House has four bedrooms with private bathrooms and is open year round. The Casino was completed in 1892 as a gentleman's seven bedroom guesthouse,
with adjoining bathrooms for shared or private use. The dramatic tower and large porch provide stunning panoramic views. Child friendly. |
