The
inn was built at the turn of the last century as a summer home. Now
it is a friendly seven bedroom B & B. All rooms
are en suite and are tastefully decorated with canopy, brass, queen
or king beds. There is a delightful common room with a large
open fireplace, where guests are welcome to relax. Complimentary
coffee and tea is on tap, and you can make a snack if you feel like
it. After a busy day sightseeing and a freshen up, you can walk
to the village for a meal and then just minutes away is the beach,
known as Parson's Way, where you can watch the ships go by. Breakfast
is served in the dining room, just off the common room. This
consists of cereals, freshly baked breads and muffins, an egg dish,
seasonal fruit, pancakes and tea or coffee. Afternoon tea is
served every day. The port offers sea coast adventures with sightseeing
cruises, deep-sea fishing and whale watching. Large beaches are
less than two miles away, complimentary beach stickers are provided. Picnic
baskets can be ordered and bike rentals, tennis and golf are nearby. Children
over 12. |
