NEW HAMPSHIRE - The Granite State

New Hampshire boasts weathered, sculpted mountains, rolling hills and shimmering lakes.

There are also enchanting country towns, covered bridges, glowing autumn leaves and sandy beaches.

The White Mountains offer excellent skiing from the first snowfall throughout the winter season.  Spring and the summer provide an endless variety of outdoor pursuits, hiking, boating and country fairs.

The factory outlet shopping centres in North Conway and Tilton are well worth a visit or top up your wine cellar - tax free - in one of the State Liquor Stores.

There are two main areas where we offer accommodation - the White Mountains and Lake Winnipesaukee - and we also have a range of B & Bs available across the state.

The White Mountains

Bounded by Vermont and the Connecticut River in the west and north west and the Lakes region in the south, the White Mountain National Forest provides an unsurpassable recreation area that stretches across 800,000 acres into Maine in the east.  86 mountains are intersected by 9 narrow valleys called 'notches'; these provide access into the region and wonderful views.
