These apartments are excellently located in a vibrant part of New York, short walk to shops and sights. Lots of restaurants and some small shops for groceries. Although equipped with kitchens, they are a little basic. The units I visited had recently been renovated and now boast very smart marble bathrooms and fresh carpets and paintwork. A studio has a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink, small table with two chairs, a double bed and private bathroom. These studios can also have 2 single beds if necessary.
A 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom apartment has a living room with table and chairs for eating, a galley style kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and sink. The bedrooms can either have a double bed or 2 singles and the living room will also have a sleep sofa. |

It was a real delight to find this charming brownstone tucked away on a quiet side street between Lexington and Park Avenue. The streets are full of small designer shops, cafes, restaurants and local colour, not to mention Bloomingdales just a few streets away. This is a private home that has been divided up into small beautifully furnished accommodations, no standard hotel furniture here. The apartments are light and airy, have high ceilings and large sash cord windows, polished wooden floors, and are furnished with antiques. Some have efficiency kitchens and others have full kitchens. |

Tucked away on the West side, just a short walk from the Hudson River and the Lincoln Center, there is a quiet street lined with brownstone buildings. One of these has set out to provide elegant and romantic suites to make your visit to New York truly memorable. There is no lift but climbing the richly carpeted stairs is an experience on its own and they are lined with fine paintings. All suites are air conditioned, have full kitchens, cable TV in bedrooms and living rooms, stereo, CD player and tape deck and VCR. Telephone voice mail. 24 hour intercom security and TV surveillance. |
