is an excellent location being less than one block from Good
Harbor Beach and half a mile of sandy beach. Walk to restaurants, shops, launderette and a great ice cream shop. One mile to Gloucester Harbor (made famous by the film 'Perfect Storm') from
where there are whale watching cruises, and four miles from
the artist colony of Rockport (the only dry town in New England). Drive to Boston in 40 minutes to 1 hour, good rail link. Just renovated first floor apartment in a lovely Victorian home complete with
a wrap around veranda. With its own entrance at the side of the veranda, it overlooks the private grounds
of the house. The large two room apartment includes a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom
and a fully equipped kitchen that opens into a living room/den. This has a double sleep sofa, air conditioning, cable TV and telephone. All linens and towels, beach towels and chairs are provided. All brand new furnishings and decor (winter 2001). |
