Located
in the rural Quiet Corner of the state, about an hour's drive from
Boston, Newport, Rhode Island, and the old port of Mystic. Just
a short drive away from a selection of good restaurants and speciality
shops. About 15 miles from the living museum of Old Sturbridge
Village. The loft above the kitchen and a cottage of
this 1790 Federal style farmhouse have been lovingly and tastefully
converted into three very comfortable studio apartments, each with
a kitchenette (electric stove, microwave, coffee maker and fridge),
a dining and sitting area, with a single sleep sofa or rollaway, TV,
A/C and telephone. One suite has a wood-burning stove. There
is an adjoining king or queen bedroom and shower over tub bathroom
with a whirlpool bath. The farmstead sits on 20 acres of pasture,
woodland and orchards divided by stone walls. |
